The jar also held grapes for the family. All of a sudden there is a banging at the door, and It turned out to be one of the kings slaves. He says that the marines were in their morning conditioning when they saw vessels coming towards Knossos. They said they looked like warships by the way the front of the ship looked and how fast it was going. The ship was still movable so Sargent Duripi, told us to get to the rowers and start rowing we glided through the ocean and it didn't take long to get to shore. The Mycenaeans weren't on the beach when we got there. They took out the people we had stationed there and have made their way into the city. We all gathered and Sargent Duripi told us “to spread out and make our way down the odos to see if they are safe and none of the civilians have been attacked or hurt.” Agnes and I decided to team up and work together we made our way to the streets of the city. All the civilians are normal like nothing happened to them. It was nightfall and Agnes and I made our way back to the Gallos house we had supper. we ate Fish and asparagus with barley Birra for something to drink. Agnes and I fell asleep as soon as we were done eating. Sunrise the next day, I woke up and thought that I was the first one up because I usually am, but Agnes was making breakfast for the both us it was left over Pso-mee and grapes from yesterdays breakfast. We decided to go out and see if the Mycenaeans have done any damage to the city, Still nothing has happened. Its like they were on the other side

I had only the Bonhomme Richard, Ia Pallas, and Ia Vengeance with which to execute this great project. But I knew that to strike a brilliant blow it was not always necessary to have a great force. I convinced the captains of la Pallas and the small corvette, by holding out the prospect of large profits to them. I was sure that in case of failure I could still, at least, make a very advantageous diversion in behalf of the enterprise of the Count d'Orvilliers in the channel. I distributed red uniforms to my marines, and I placed a few men dressed in them on the two prizes so that the two ships looked like…

The King statue is a larger than life representation that looks different from the back and the front. The base of the statue has four panels, each with a different scene depicted on them. This makes the viewer motivated to walk around to each side and look at the panels. It is difficult to make a personal connection to this work because it is a lot higher than the viewer’s line of sight. It makes the viewer feel underneath the statue and not at eye level. However, the statue’s lifelike quality and naturalistic appeal provide a more personal experience.…

As the centuries-old uncontested masters of the sea, they stood on their massive, elegant ships and watched their enemy strain to maintain their order and discipline on their new, untested, barely sailable vessels. The Roman navy struggled to maintain a semblance of formation, much to the amusement of the Carthaginian sailors. Hannibal’s sailors sounded off loudly with laughter and cries of derision as they watched the Roman fleet sway back and forth in an attempt to stay in an orderly pattern. The contempt Hannibal and his sailors felt for the inept Roman fleet caused him to break formation and sail in for the kill. Hannibal took an echelon of thirty vessels and drove straight for the Romans.…
