Why I Deserve a Scholarship
I believe that I deserve a Big33 Scholarship for several reasons. My high attendance, academic achievement, determination, time management, financial need, motivation for college and to achieve better are all reasons I will discuss of why I believe I deserve a scholarship.
The first reason is because I am very diligent in my studies and attend my classes every day. In my entire schooling career I missed very minimal amounts of school. I have obtained perfect attendance in grades 9th, 11th, and am working on 12th grade. In my 10th grade year I only missed one day of school. I have also had high honor roll every year in high school and plan to continue it throughout college.
Another reason is I am very determined when it comes to both work and school. I take both of these aspects very seriously and when I’m given an assignment or task, I feel very obligated to not only complete it, but do so both correctly and in a timely manner.
Also I am very good at managing many things at one time. For example, in my sophomore and junior year in high school I managed school, homework, church volunteer work, practicing the piano and attending my lessons and performances, babysitting (about 40 hours per week on the weekends, overnight) family and church activities and spending time with my friends, family and boyfriend. In my senior year I am managing school, homework, work, college and scholarship applications, practicing the piano and attending my lessons and performances, babysitting my nephew about one night per week, family activities, church events, student government events, and spending as much time as I can find with my friends, family, and boyfriend.
Also, with just working a minimum wage job, I do not have enough money to go to college on my own funds. I am putting away a little bit of money from each pay check since I started my job but this, though it does add up and will help greatly is not going to be enough to cover my total of six years of schooling that is

My grandfather was the one who really got me interested in Japan. My grandfather would have loved me going to Japan and would have supported me whole heartedly. I want to go to Japan not only to see what he saw, but also to improve the little that I know and improve myself.…

My first reason is that I wanted to see if college. I say this because college is not for everybody. I have seen an overwhelming amount of people go to college and drop out. For an example, in my family, on my mother’s side, my aunties and uncles decided not to go to college. On the other hand, my family, on my father’s side, went to college and did not get a job based on what they majored in or went to college, but dropped out. So, me being, I wanted to know why did they go to college and drop out. Then, I started comparing their lifestyles together. In result, I started talking to people that went to college to see how it is. This brings me to my second reason.…

I have always been a hard working student. I do all my work and study for all my tests and quizzes, but one of the reasons I know to do this is from my freshman year in high school. It taught me that sometimes you have to work harder than what you believe may be needed and that school is not all about the grades that you get but about the personal growth that you earned in order to achieve this growth.…

I’m always ready to take up the next challenge. I can work very hard for a long time and finish my work. My parents tell people this too because they see me working every night on a new assignment and they could come back out an hour later and I still would be working on that same assignment if I hadn’t finished it already. I work hard every single day to accomplish goals, even when I’m not in school. Every weekend, I am working out one of my family’s houses or taking care of my three dogs like walking, bathing them and such. After school, I’m helping my family with stuff around the house and practicing piano when I have a break. Piano, that’s another part of my perseverance and my growth. I have been taking piano for almost five years now because I love it and it helps my mind grow and…
