Why I Want to Be a Pharmacist
Why I Want To Be A Pharmacist. There are so many careers in the health field in which a person can choose from. But I choose to be a pharmacist for so many reasons. Being from Nigeria and growing up there, I did see people get sick and die suddenly all due to inadequate health care provision. Also in my Family I have my Mom who I almost lost to cancer and also an Auntie who is now suffering from pancreatic cancer, which is one of the most deadly cancers that kill its victims quickly. Seeing how much pain and trauma they go through daily, i want to be able to help them get well quickly or provide medications which can cure the illness. These entire situations motivated and increased my interest in becoming a pharmacist. Being that I get alone and care for people and also working as a pharmacist or any other health profession requires caring for the patient and treating them with love. I believe I would have a good connection and communication with my patients, in order to understand how they feel or what they need to get better. I also want to be a pharmacist because there are so many wide range of field in which a person can choose from in the pharmacy field, and becoming a pharmacist gives me the opportunity to choose from a wide range of options, which can provide a flexible schedule and also some time to spend with family and to get some personal work done. In conclusion, being a pharmacist involves and leads to becoming an important member of a health care team, I want to one day become a life saver, an important member of a health care team, a role model to other people. I also want to be able to show love and care to people who need it. I want to be a pharmacist because I believe I can make a difference

    I would love to be a nurse someday because it has many attractive qualities.
