On September 11, 2001 a devastating tragedy occurred in the United States. Two hijacked planes crashed into the Twin Towers in New York City. Also, a plane crashed into the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. The United States was under a terrorist attack. The United States will never be the same since the 9/11 tragedy. Oliver Stone directed a movie called "World Trade Center." It came out in the year of 2006. This movie of course is based on a true event. "World Trade Center" is a movie based on the terrorist attack that happened to New York City's Twin Towers. Oliver Stone did a great job at directing this movie. He used great detail throughout the entire movie. While I watched this movie, I actually felt like I was in New York City, watching this terrible tragedy happen. I could see the buildings on fire, people running for their lives, and fire trucks, ambulances, and police cars racing to get to the towers. This movie has two police officers who are the main characters. (John and Willie) The whole station of police officers rushed to the scene, of the burning Twin Towers. The sergeant (John) asked for volunteers to go up with him into the buildings. Only five of them went up with him. These police officers then became dressed in firemen outfits. After getting dressed, the policemen began to walk towards the towers. The police officers only knew about one plane crashing into tower one, as they went to rescue people. When the brave police officers walked into the building between the Twin Towers, they then found out that tower two had also been struck by a plane. As injured and scared people walked through the building, the policemen continued to walk farther up to help people. Then a loud roaring noise came about. The policemen saw people starting to run. The towers were collapsing quickly. The sergeant yelled for his crew to run to a near exit door. As they got closer to the door, they were then all buried in debri and rubble from the
