Worldview Essay Christians have an important decision to make based on what they believe and what they would like to stand for. Many Christians subconsciously form a worldview based on the environment they have grown up in. Although many children agree with their parents, they need to form their own worldview based off of their own beliefs. Christians should be meticulous in the beliefs of their religion so that they may hold fast to the truth if ever put on trial by a peer or instructor at school or a coworker at work. The Lord works in mysterious ways and they should be prepared to be put on trial and resist temptation at any point in their lives no matter what the circumstance. Not all Christians will decide to attend a Christ centered college for their education. They may attend a school where evolution is highly regarded and the professor may try and change their perspective. They may be told that there is no God and their entire perception of theology is wrong. A young believer’s worldview will be very important as they go on to college and have non believing instructors. They must stand firm in the knowledge that they have acquired from His word through Scriptures and through nature, not trusting their own reasons and sense for their knowledge is not nearly as big as God’s knowledge. They should know what is true and what is false, for God tells them to hide His word in their hearts, so that they might not sin against Him (Psalm 119:11). When the time comes, God will send a man who is craving Jesus. They will have no time to grab Bibles and look up a verse, or review what their pastor told them. They will have to immediately witness to this person and give them their testimony. In 1 Peter 3:15 it says, “But sanctify Christ our Lord in our hearts, always being ready to make a defense for Him”. Christians are always examples of Christ whether it pleases Him or not. This person may only have
