Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of a universal language. People’s mutual understanding has always been a problem when highly differing native languages are taken into account, like German and Spanish, for example. Thus, several different solutions were proposed, one of which was the inclusion of a universal language. The application of a universal language could well have certain positive and negative effects on the world populace. I, honestly, believe the invention of a new, universal language would be absolutely unnecessary; one of the reasons is that people would, mostly, stop learning other foreign languages, which would make human thinking and communicational capacities and capabilities grow even poorer than today.
