Personal Reflection:

After many times of the modification of the PowerPoint, we still had some mistakes. Besides, we got many of the sources on this topic. Unfortunately, we can’t fully use the resources and used them in the best way. For example, I read a paper written by Wong Hung about the concept of “Pay As You Go” and “Partially pre-fund”, but I still cannot explain the words in the class. Having limited understanding to this topic, and only 4 members in the group, it made it more difficult to efficiently divide the workload and evaluate the policy professionally. This is the reason why we talked to the lecturer several times, did researches by looking up information online and from books. Fortunately, the finished the project.
Moreover, our lecturer told us that we ought to place our focus on “pay as you go” and “partially pre-funded” parts, since we indeed focused on the wrong sub-parts, and neglected the more important parts, which is why there was room to improvement. Also, during the policy analyzation, we have to make good use of precise data and certain concepts, in order to achieve a overall comprehensive and professional analyzation, therefore I will be more aware of this key point in the

    1. The importance of employee benefits as a strategic component of fulfilling the goals of human resource management is to find, attract, and retain quality employees (DeCenzo & Robbins, 2009). Treating employees with respect, offering bonuses, rewards, on site lunches, etc. helps keep employees happy, and loyal. The main purpose for employee benefits is to find qualified candidates to fill positions, and want to stay within the company. Without offering employee benefits, employees wouldn’t remain loyal, and productivity would be low. Benefits are an employees’ incentive to want to do their job to the best that they possibly can, as well as stay loyal to the company. In today’s…

CNMT 410 was an interesting class to learn about the professional workplace. The discussions on time stealing interested me the most since I had no idea what some employers consider stealing time. Besides the discussions I learned a lot about producing quality work. Before this class my resume and cover letter would’ve been a joke. Most likely I would’ve taken a generic resume from Google. The resume wouldn’t have been very personal or showcase my experience. There would have been the exact same problem with the cover letter. I had no idea before this class that the cover letter was meant to be a personal letter from myself to the hiring manager. I always thought cover letters were more or less optional and just a generic short essay on who I was as a person. The quality of my work increased tenfold just from…

In the presentation the following points were included; the benefits of team working, theories of team working and theories of leadership.
