Youth Promises Mission Statement
Mission Statement:
Youth Promises is a Non-Profit Organization that provides education programs, extracurriculars activities and volunteer service. Youth Promises is here to provide kids and teenagers a safe haven and away from violence. Youth Promises reach for our students to stand out and not be part of the stereotypes in society.
The Organization Summary:
Youth Promises headquartered on the west side of Chicago, Illinois. The organization is owned and founded by Monae Miller. Monae has had a line of volunteer work with youths and made it her life plan to help any and every youth that is or have a risk of being a stereotype or in harm's way. Youth Promises will ensure that every student in our care will have the best help and friend …show more content…
they also help provide help for more trips such as to zoos and also educational purposes as in to visit high schools and colleges. To show our students that it more to life than what they're living and to provide a good future for them. The donations also help provide more employees so that when our students grow, our employee rate will too. Also with the donations, it gives more chances for each student to succeed.
Evacuation plan:
Evacuation route maps have been posted in each classroom. The following information is marked on evacuation maps:Emergency exits,Primary and secondary evacuation routes,Locations of fire extinguishers,Fire alarm pull stations’ location. For medical emergency, call medical emergency phone number which will be place in each classroom. The phone numbers will include :Paramedics, Ambulance, Fire Department etc. For Fire emergency,Activate the nearest fire alarm, notify the local Fire Department by calling their phone number. Upon being notified about the fire emergency, occupants must Leave the building using the designated escape routes, Assemble in the designated area that's explained in the evacuation maps: Remain outside until the competent authority announces that it is safe to
