Zach Maguire Massacre

The Hardy boys come back from their mission at Bear Mountain Lake Ski Resort where they caught a bandit. When they get home, they get their next case about the death of Zach Maguire. Zach was at a prison reform camp called Camp Wilderness when he was killed. When they are ready to go solve the case at the camp, The Hardy Boys disguise themselves with fake names and backgrounds. Joe goes as Brian Moya, a boy who is sentenced to the camp because of shop lifting. Frank goes as Steve Neemy, a gang leader from Brooklyn. When they get to camp they meet their team. The night they get there they automatically figure out that it was someone on their team that killed Zach Maguire. That night they go to bed normally to rest for a hike the next day. On the hike they are
They try to put it out but have to get a fire truck to help. When the fire is put out and Frank is safe, they must go canoeing to practice for the next days competition. While canoeing, someone has put a hole in Frank's canoe and they flip. The next day is the race last place team gets kicked from camp which means they are sent to jail. The Hardy Boys team doesn't win but only Dylan and Ken get kicked from their team and sent to jail. Joe finds Frank is not in his bed so in the search for Frank, Joe finds a jeep. He follows a trail leading to the cliff were Zach was killed. At the end of the trail, Will Smiley is holding Frank over a cliff. All Will Smiley wanted was to impress his dad Linc Saunders. Linc thought that his team, mainly Zach, was slowing him down and he thought that he could impress his dad by winning. When Joe and Frank get home they get a letter that stated Will Smiley had been sent to jail for the death of Zach Maguire and the Hardy boys had solved another case.

This was a great book for people who like action and Hardy boys.
