Vegans avoid all animal products and by products. They rely solely on plant based products. Vegans also do not use food that has been processed using any animal products. Vegans eat all grains, legumes, fruits, and vegetables also there are vegan versions to some of our favorite foods. There are vegan macaroni and cheese, vegan chicken and vegan burgers. Vegans also enjoy tofu and soy milk which is very popular among them. Vegans also avoid animal products in clothing which include leather, fur, and silk. Some vegans even avoid cosmetics that are made with animal products.
Some advantages of becoming a vegan are that they are thinner than vegetarians because they are strictly plant based. Vegans also have low levels of blood pressure and low density lipoprotein cholesterol. These low levels are due to the fact that vegan diets have a good source of dietary fiber, potassium, and magnesium, folic acid, vitamin C and E. Another advantage is since Vegans tend to be skinner this allows them to have a low risk of developing diabetes and cancer. Having lower blood pressure and "bad" cholesterol levels enables Vegans to have a lower risks of developing cardiovascular disease.
Health advantages are only one part, other advantages include cost. Vegans and vegetarians save a lot of money simply because they are not
