This is a report evaluating how success the business is at the time. The success of a company could be measured in many different ways such as by measuring how popular the business is, the company value, the company revenue, the company’s net profit and in many other different ways too
Introduction to the business: adidas
Adidas AG is a German multinational corporation that designs and manufactures sport clothing and accessories based in Bavaria, Germany .it is the holding company for the adidas group, which consists of the reebok sportswear company. Besides sportswear, adidas also produce other products such as bags, shirts, watches, eyewear and other sports- and clothing-related goods. Adidas is the largest manufacturer in Germany and Europe and the second biggest sportswear manufacturer in the world. It possesses a distinctive logo and the catchy advertising slogan “Impossible is Nothing” further cement the brand image and popularity. strength of the business the strength of the business of adidas is that they have a good financial position where they make a profit of 1100 m a year, and they managed to make a profit of 1185 in year 2012 , the business also have an excellent marketing strategy and a good market leadership. Adidas is a strong brand which could be considered as a strength of the business and they have strong online presence, strong international operation, strong distribution chain and competitive pricing
Weakness of the business some of the weakness of adidas’ business are that they have a high cost structure but still the products are low quality sometimes and low quality service. Another weakness is that they have a limited product line, which means that they can extend to a manufacturing line of another product such as official wears due to the company’s’ brand position and another is that the online customer service aren’t helpful therefore it draws back customers.
