One of the bigger question of World War II was, “could it have been prevented?”. There are many theories that support it could've been prevented and that it couldn’t be prevented. World War II was one of the bloodiest wars, if not the bloodiest, in all of the wars ever. The total military deaths that came from the war were roughly around 19 million people killed (Appleby 519). It featured great Allied leaders: Franklin Delanor Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, and Joseph Stalin. The Axis leaders consisted of Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, and Hideki Tojo. These six men were some of the greatest leaders of all time, even if they were Axis. The results of the war did end up in our favor though since the Allieds won. To pull things together, World War II was a deadly war and there was virtually no way this war could have been avoided or prevented.
The main reason the war started was because Hitler wanted to capture Europe and nobody was going to let him. Hitler came to power in 1933 when he was appointed to Chancellor of Germany (Adolf). According to a World War II article, In 1919, Michael Keogh saved “a little-known demagogue” who was on the point of being beaten to death by an angry mob, his name (Could)? Adolf Hitler. This was Keogh’s second time seeing Hitler, the first time was when they were assigned to the same Bavarian Infantry Regiment. But their second meeting, as explained above, was the one that could've changed the history of the world. The fight that Keogh saved Hitler from was over politics, how ironic. Just think if Keogh was not there at the time Hitler was about to be killed, the world
