A disease is an abnormal condition that affects the body of an organism. It is often construed as a medical condition associated with specific symptoms and signs. It may be caused by factors originally from an external source, such as infectious disease, or it may be caused by internal dysfunctions, such as autoimmune diseases.
Type of diseases
Lyme disease (it is an infectious disease caused by at least three species of bacteria belonging to the genus .
Vector bone and parasitic diseases (it is a disease transmit by mosquitoes)
Fungal (it is caused because of fungus)
Bacterial disease (it is transmitted by bacteria)
Blank band disease (it is transmitted by viruses and may kill colonies of coral )

Consequences of diseases in biodiversity
1. All species are interconnected. They depend on one another. Bees and other insects carry pollen from one plant to another, which enables the plants to reproduce. If there is less biodiversity, there might be extinction of animal, and if bees become extinct , there will be a problem for plants to reproduce.
2. With the loss of biodiversity the transmission of diseases increases .Thus biodiversity Loss causes the loss of an important ecosystem service: buffering the spreading of Infectious diseases to humans, animals and plants. 3. Another of these transitions came with the Industrial Revolution. Infectious diseases decreased in many places while cancer, allergies and birth defects shot up
4. Indirect effects of habitat loss, destruction, and degradation (e.g. stress, reduced body condition) can make an individual or population more susceptible to infection from diseases. 5. About 10,000 years ago,
