Specialization: Human Resources Management
Walden University Professional Goal Statement
Personal/Professional
I am interested in attaining a graduate degree because an education is something that can never be taken away from you and I would also like to prove to myself that the past does not define an individual. My primary reason for choosing the Human Resources field is because this has always been an interest of mine. The primary objectives of the Human Resources Director is the development of an employee oriented company that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance. Another reason for selecting my specialization is - I have a Bachelors degree in Finance and an Associates degree in Accounting, with a Masters degree in Human Resources Management I would make myself for marketable. My personal goals would include becoming an Officer in the United States Air Force Reserves and receiving my Doctorates degree. Professionally, I see myself being the Director of Human Resources in the military and moving on to become the Director of Human Resources at a large university or organization.
Academic Experience I earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a Finance core from Morehead State University. I also have an Associates degree in Arts with an Accounting option that I received while attending Maysville Community College. I plan to use previous work experiences and education to benefit my goal towards achieving my Masters degree. My undergraduate GPA is definitely not one to be proud of, ashamed is actually the best word that I can use to express my true feelings. After graduating from High School – I decided to move to my hometown of Maysville, Kentucky, primarily to assist with the care of my aging grandmother and to begin my freshman year of college. At the age of 18 years I definitely had my hands
