I just had the most amazing vacation! I just came back from a cruise aboard the largest cruise ship in the world; it’s called The Oasis of the Seas. I would like to share with you three of the most enjoyable aspects of my trip, from the endless activities, to the exciting land excursions and just meeting tons of new people.
The ship was huge! It was a whopping 225 feet above the water. The possibilities of having something to do were endless. Just think of mountain climbing, while sailing the blue seas, or zip lining across a replica of Central Park, or how about testing your surfing skills on the flow rider. There was also ice skating, night clubs, and you could even try your luck at the casino, however, you may choose to simply lounge around the many pools and hot tubs. There was something for everyone, young, old, and in between.
Although there is plenty to do on the ship, a land excursion is something you don’t want to miss when the ship docks. Taking a guided tour on one of the islands is a must do. The tour guides were very informative and knew all the right places to go, they drove fast, crazy and on the opposite side of the road from which we’re accustomed to driving. I even went snorkeling at Trunk Bay, one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world.
While enjoying the many activities and land excursions, it allowed me to meet lots of new people. One thing I liked most was dinner time; we sat at tables of six, with people who were complete strangers, so it made for some good conversations. I met a couple from Wales, England and we became really good friends, so much that we ended up exchanging face book information.
So as you can see my trip was fun, full of exciting activities and I now have a handful of new buddies, if you’ve not been on a cruise, it may be just the thing you want to do on your next
