Introduction
Attention Getter
Do you know if you are aiding in the slow demise of our planet? If you are driving or know someone who does a car that releases carbon dioxide emissions you are. We all depend on our vehicles to get us to those great memories, like the beach or a wedding. (Statistic) According to Worldbank.org, in 2006, the United States carbon dioxide emission per capita was 19.27 metric tons. This means that that year a person averaged 19.27 metric tons of carbon Dioxide emissions, most of the coming from m their vehicle. Mesopotamia is a region known to be very fertile found in between two rivers, river Tigris, and river Euphrates. Mesopotamia has significantly contributed to the world’s culture because most things were invented in this place. The invention of tools like the wheel, which used rollers, allowed carrying heavy loads. The rollers and wheels eventually evolved to become the wheels we currently use in bicycles, cars and even in airplanes. People in Mesopotamia were also hunters and gatherers (The Phoenix Learning Group Inc.). They used to bury their dead, conduct funeral rituals and these practices are still done today. The aspect of irrigation, which involved digging trenches in allowing water to flow into crops such as cereals, was also invented…

The previous thing told about there being less children in the world, and less children mean less people. Less people means less resources needed to keep the people comfortable. Of course, less people is not enough, you also educate the poorer on using less. Educating the poor actually has little effect, though. What's more important is educating the wealthy (relative to the rest of the world) on the dangers of pollution. (Source Here) Go with the same approach we currently take with wars, show what happens when something goes wrong, and why it's bad. It doesn't even have to be a topic like global warming, tell them if they like stepping in trash, then tell them ¨Oi! Don't litter! Ist nicht gut für deine Gesundheit¨. Heck, you can use this approach to all sorts of topics, but that's not what I’m talkin about for…

One thing that affects the atmosphere very much is cars. The pollution from cars kills animals, plants, and other organisms. (Document F) Organisms have to be rescued, if they continue dying, the world will be left with no resources. If people just walked instead of using a car at least a day of each week, many organisms would be saved. The government has many options they could take to reduce greenhouse gasses, for example The Kyoto Protocol. (Document K) The problem is that they don’t believe it is happening.…

Firstly, vehicles are one of the leading causes of pollution. They burn high amounts of fuel and release toxin gases; for instance, during the eighteenth century, in London, this resulted in an increase of carbon dioxide in the air, and citizens had to wear face masks to avoid getting sick. Nowadays, engineers have made gasoline and electric powered cars which are economically friendly, and burn less fuel. Furthermore, local travelers who travel as far as going to work, school or shopping or more should only use four cylinders or less powered vehicles to release less CO2 into the atmosphere.…

Individuals can take action by investing on greener energy sources. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has made it easier now more than ever for people to reduce their own carbon footprint by labeling various electrical products ranging from dishwashers to tablets with an Energy Star label. These products meet EPA’s low standards of energy consumption which will in turn reduce the cost of energy bills. As for transportation, carpooling and public transportation that rely on renewable energy are key to reducing your carbon footprint. Less than a decade ago, most vehicles were required to only meet minimal fuel-economy standards (Henson 388), so for those who must commute by car daily, investing in an energy efficient vehicles like electric cars and hybrids is a great way to help cut carbon…

Cars have run on gas since they were created. The invention of cars was a great idea for a way to get around even faster, but since they were produced they have substantially contributed to global warming. Not just the cars themselves have done their part though. With the need for cars, comes the need for many different parts. More factories are around to created tires, glass, steel, and many other things. We know now that cars, along with other forms of transportation, are responsible for about 15% of carbon dioxide. This carbon dioxide continues to pollute our air. Cars were a wonderful invention and hopefully soon we will see many more electric cars on the road. However, atomic bombs are most likely here to…

The everyday automobile would seem like a silly thing to give up with all its amazing factors. But do the bad factors outweigh the good ones? Cars are becoming a large problem in our nation, with the effects they are creating on the atmosphere and world’s environment and people’s health, the dangers of driving, and the outrageously high costs they have, even when there is an easy alternative for the trouble of automobiles. When most people think of the negative side of cars, they might think of the gases being released and the damage it is doing to the world’s environment and ozone layer. As said in Running off Road by Grover Kingsley, “The auto is a huge contributor to greenhouse gas emissions… a whopping 23% of emissions came from transportation.”…

Nevertheless, we can down play the role of single country and single person in protecting the environment. The government can establish relevant policies, such as environment laws, to restrain the behaviors of manufacturers and the general public. For instance, sewage treatment should be required to the factories before pouring into the river, thus may effectively prevent water pollution. Furthermore, the government should allocate a sum of money to the technology companies to encourage them to develop fuel-efficient vehicles and search for alternatives to fossil fuel. Concerning the contribution of individuals, they could choose carpooling, which help lower average carbon footprint, as their first choice when travel. In addition, the general public should support environmentally- friendly brands and refuse over-packaging and disposal items, which seem to take long time to break down.…
