After reading through the different types of leader styles, I sat and analyzed how I deal with managing issues. I concluded that I am a Problem Solver type of leader. This individual uses a systematic approach to combating issues that arise. When a situation rises that needs attention, I figure out exactly what the problem is; lay out scenarios to resolve the problem and working toward a goal that eliminates the problem. I then devise a plan or map for the solution to the problem. I also take input from all that would be affected by the problem and even those affected by the outcome, and weigh that input when deciding a plan to resolve the problem.…

As I looked through all of the Rockland County Legislatures, reading their bios, I became a little overwhelmed in my decision making process of whom I would like to interview. Perhaps it would seem obvious that I would want to interview someone from my district, however on the contrary, my district legislative members have been known to have some criminal doings in those activities related to school taxes. Unfortunately many of those who are on the board for my district do not represent the majority of the population, so this indeed was not an option for me.…

It is worth setting up DHCP for two, five, or even twenty five computers as long as they have updated software to support it. Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol is very important protocol in networking because DHCP let network administrators manage centrally and automate the assignment of IP configurations on a computer network. The importance of DHCP is because when connected to a network every computer will be assigned a unique address which is the IP address so there is a need to automate the task. Now how does the DHCP works? The way DHCP works is that the DHCP server receives the request from the client and the DHCP server assigns a new address for a specific time period and sends it to the client together with the other required configuration information. DHCP server will not reallocate the address during this period and will attempt to return the same address every time the clients request an address. I would personally think that setting up DHCP for your computers is worth doing it just because it has its advantages over manual configuration. Some of the advantages include that each computer gets its configuration from a pool of available numbers automatically for a specific time period which means that there are no wasted numbers. The IP address is then released after the computer has finished with the address and it is then released for another computer to use. In contrast, manual configuration can be time consuming and might be prone to errors. In manual configuration, it requires the careful input of a subnet mask, unique IP address, Domain name Server Address, and default router address. Servers offer completely centralized management of all TCP/IP client configurations, including IP address and DNS address is another great thing about DHCP. Also, DHCP servers are easy to administer and can be set up in a minimal time.…

During trauma, normal functioning disintegrates in people. When a person perceives a threat, the initial stages of a complex, total-body response will begin. The brain orchestrates, directs, and controls this response. The more threatened an individual feels, the further their brain and body will be shifted along an arousal continuum in an attempt to ensure appropriate mental and physical responses to the challenges of the threat. The cognitive (thinking), emotional, and behavioural functioning of the individual will all reflect this shift along the arousal continuum. During the traumatic event, all aspects of the individual 's functioning change, including feeling, thinking, and behaving. For instance, someone under direct assault abandons thoughts of the future or abstract plans for survival. At that exact moment, all of the victim 's thinking, behaving, and feeling is being directed by more primitive parts of the brain. The arousal continuum is characterized by many physiological changes. Under threat, sympathetic nervous system activity increases in a gradual fashion. Heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration a re altered during the arousal response. Glucose stored in muscle is released to prepare the large skeletal muscles of your arms and legs for either a fight or a flight. These…
