WCBC is public sector, which means that it is a not for profit organisation that is mainly funded by the government but is also funded by things such as Council tax, fees for car parking and business rates. The department I work in (Assets and Economic Development) focuses on developing businesses within Wrexham.

It’s important to work with others when working towards collective goals and objectives because different people can contribute different things which will help to produce the best end results.

When you are all working on the same project/task it helps if each individual is assigned a part of the task. This means that each individual section will get somebody’s whole attention rather than everybody trying to do a bit of everything and nobody properly concentrating. As a result of working together and sharing the workload the final product should be of high and professional quality – which is a very positive outcome.
