For the 360 Reach I identified 38 candidates to provide feedback about me. I emailed a survey provided by Career Distinction Stand out by Building Your Brand. The survey has the following categories: brand attributes, brand skills, strengths and weaknesses, projective exercises, team role and a comment section.

growing and thriving personal branding process in the current professional setting. The feedback I received will help me continue developing my personal brand and career.
My target audience was the people I have worked with for several years, friends that I known most of my life and family members.
A big portion of the candidates were former colleagues and supervisors, people that know my work style, my values, ethics and what I believe in and stand for. I chose to send them the 360 Reach survey because they would be able to provide me important feedback in a professional level. This feedback will help me know how I am perceived in the work place and the attributes the employees and employer see in me. Including the skills I know I have to perform a job and the skills I may not notice I possess. The second biggest portion of the surveys I sent was to friends that I interact with either in a weekly or daily basis. Some of these friends are people that have known me since my middle school years others are friends that I have made along my path through my life. They see a different side of me more relax and to some extend more intimate, their feedback will be just as important as that of my professional colleagues. This will help me improve things that I may think are strengths and positive but others see as weaknesses. Such as “devotion” to me being devoted to something you believe in, is strength not a weakness; however other people may see it as a weakness in your part. The rest of the surveys were sent to family members, the people that know me most intimately. Their feedback will help in a more personal level which will also impact …show more content…
my professional self.
The relation between my self-profiler survey and the responses from others are very similar in Leadership Competencies.
I have the skills of inspiring, developing, deciding and resourcing I was not surprise to see that respondents also saw those competencies in me. They also gave me delivering, relating, solving and visioning. I was please to see those responses because I do relate things that I need to focus on to other things I have accomplished in the past. I like to solve and understand the problems and what cause the problem in order to solve it and learn from it. I look at the big picture and visualize myself once my goals or tasks have been accomplished.
When it comes to Brand Personas there were only three responses that were the same from my self-profiler survey and the responders’. Those are rock, confidence-emitter and expert, for the rest of my answers I have evangelist, giver, smiler, optimist, sophisticate, and caregiver. The responders gave me truth-teller, self-started, driver, athlete, mover, judge, and competitor. I have all of those attributes however I see myself more like a caregiver, I become an expert in what I do by doing so, I am able to assist others if they need my
help.
For Team Roles I see myself as facilitator, there was only one responder that sees that in me. I like to help others and empower them to do better this facilitates their professional growth. The responders see me as leader, administrator, care-giver, creator, doer, motivator, project manager. I am pleased to see the responders’ answers; I do like to take care of people by empowering them that gives me the opportunity to lead people in the right direction. Sometimes there are situations when employees do not believe in their capabilities to accomplish what is being asked from them, that is where I come in. I work with them to set up a strategic plan and implemented it to make sure they accomplish their task successfully. I do take a leadership role within the group or team I work with. I tend to motivate people when things are tough and create ways to work, better not harder. My personal brand is “You decide the outcome of your day”. This message is concise and others comprehend it and relate to it. Why did I choose it? Because we all have the option of deciding what the outcome of our day is going to be. We can decide to make it a positive or a negative outcome depending on our mental stage. It takes time to change your mind set to switch negative experiences to positive and learning experiences. From the respondents’ answers I came to the conclusion that the people around me from different areas of my life see me in a very similar manner. They see me as a leader, reliable, driven and someone they can count on in a professional environment and in a more personal level.
