Human Resources Department

The Human Resources Department deals with the employees and the people who make up the workforce in a business or firm. The Human resources Department is important because you need someone in charge of the population within and outside the business. If a company has too many workers they will have employees that have a lot of free time and are not working; therefore, the Human Resources department is there to fire the unnecessary employees that are not needed. The Human Resources department also hire new employees. They train them to do the necessary jobs needed to make sure they can perform efficiently and contribute to the business or firm in a good way. Human Resources department also deals with application forms if someone needs a job. If the company has little employees then they will have to overwork the employees in order to get the job done; this is the reason why we have the Human Resources department who can determine how many employees the company needs to hire or fire. The tasks that are performed in the human resource department are employee welfare and motivation, determining wages and salaries, job analysis and job description, Manpower Planning. Employees welfare and motivation are necessities because if the employees are not happy they will not work to the best of their ability; however, happy employees equals a healthy and successful organization because they will work hard to the best of their ability to get their specific jobs done on time and efficiently. An example of things that helps to motivate the employees are get together, family day, discount when they purchase from the company, have an employee of the month, give bonuses and many more other motivational awards. The Human Resources department determine wages based on market surveys and the different positions that a person has within a business.
