HEAVY NONSTANDARD/BAD ESSAY

Throughout history, societies have always held their different viewpoints on governmental decision making. Societies have also held their different viewpoints on the roles of citizens in this decision making. This process can range from absolute control by a single individual or a few individuals to a political system that is a democracy. It’s many good and bad things to both systems of government.
There are forms of government with only one person in charge. The citizens don’t have no say in the decisions that are made. The leader has complete control, and he has total control. Mussolini was this kind of leader in Italy. He made all of the rules. Mussolini was a very harsh ruler. He gained many thing for Italy. These things might not have never been accomplished in a democracy. Mussolini's form of government was known as fascism. There are some downsides to forms of government with only one person in charge. Many times the people rights are denied. This causes them to become unhappy. This makeØ them want to fight the unfair government. This caused the French Revolution. Some people wanted to have a more democratic government. This revolution was not successful in the end. France returned to a form of government with one man as its ruler. Rulers that are like kings believe that free elections should not be held. This would put power in the hands of the people. This is absolutely against that type of government. This is a disadvantage. The ruler cannot be replaced unless he Ø overthrown. A bad leader will just not be elected again in a democracy. Leaders that are like kings may bring good things to they country. They might bring economic reform. They might also bring economic growth, but their rule may result in problems for the citizens. The problems lead to revolution.
The opposite of a government with only one person in charge is democracy. The government representØ the people in a democracy. The citizens are encourageØ to take

It is known that a state without government is a state in chaos and confusion. What the best possible form of government should be has been debated by political philosophers over time. To vigorously ensure the well-being of a state, the government of that state should be absolute or one in which all power is vested in a single ruler. A monarch's authority to govern should be absolute because God establishes kings, decisions would be made quicker, and there would be less conflict between differing parties.…

A government is meant to rule the people so there isn't anarchy and chaos. However, the people, for their sake, should control the same government. A government that is not connected to its people is a government ripe for disaster. Marie Antoinette, for example, ruled but did not know who she was actually ruling. She did not understand that they were starving. She was not connected to her people and her people made her pay for her ignorance.…

Government is defined by the Webster Dictionary as "the system by which a state or community is governed." In America that system is democracy. It is a system which allows for personal freedom and the ability for one individual to make a difference. Democracy will by definition always follow the will of the majority. John Adams declares that "the form of government which communicates ease, comfort, security, or, in one word, happiness, to the greatest number of persons, and in the greatest degree, is the best." Democracy ensures that by giving people the chance to have their say in the public arena. They participate intimately in politics but give elected leaders to stand in for them on the day to day details.…

A democracy is when the common people are considered as the primary source of political power. Although democracy and absolutism had advantages and disadvantages, democracy was a more effective type of government for it limited royal power and protected the rights of the people socially, politically, and economically. Throughout the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, tension arose between the two different types of governments, the democracy and absolute monarchs.…

There were two major historical turning points during this period; Reconstruction and the Industrial Revolution. With the end of the Civil War in 1865 came the Reconstruction Era which lasted until 1877. During this time the federal government attempted to resolve the issues that resulted from the ending of the Civil War. Although physical rebuilding of the region began quickly and rapidly progressed, reconstructing southern society proved to be a much more difficult process. The two major concerns were from the political stand point on how to integrate rebel states back into the nation and from the social stand point on how to integrate 4 million newly freed slaves back into society.…

Dictatorship; a rule with just one person or a few of them controlling the country may sound like a regime with less chaos and corruption. Despite such a promising scenario I tend not to agree with John Adams statement. It’s not democracy that dies off, rather it is dictatorship that fails to survive. And the dictator sees his failure when people want their voice to be heard, problems to be solved, rights to be served and freedom and equality to be the main focus of leadership.…

A government can come into existence via different routes. One of the possible routes is to be elected, more or less directly, by the people. This is what we call a democracy. Whether this government later interferes with the personal freedom of the people or not has very little to do with the fact that it was established in a democratic way.…

1- Transportation today is much different from the way that it was 50 years ago. At that time, people who wanted to buy an automobile had a small variety to choose from. Nowadays, there are so many choices that it could take months to look at all the cars on the market. For those buyers who are looking for a vehicle for their families, one of the first questions is, “should I buy a sports utility vehicle (SUV) or a four-door sedan?” To reach a decision, a buyer can compare these two car types in term of their overall cost, convenience, and style.…

Since as far as history can remember man has given up rights in exchange for peace, order, and stability. For centuries man has strived to find the perfect government where there are the right amount of laws and rights to live by. Throughout time we have witnessed many governments rule countries and not all of them have been great. Some rulers who have total control have proven to become corrupt and use their power to benefit themselves instead of the country they are there to serve. People want to have a voice in what goes on in the state, they want to be heard and have their problems acknowledged. Humans are rational and moral and should have a say in what goes on in the government which is why a republic is the best government because government officials are elected to make decisions in the best interest of the people and the people still have a say in what goes on.…
