Memory
I can recall on several occasions where I have experienced a clear episodic memory. One experience was in 2001 when I was five years old. It was the day of 9/11 and I remember being in my kindergarten classroom. I remember the teachers on their cell phone with a paniclook on their face; they were talking about towers. A few minutes went by and my mom checked me out of school and I was so scared because I did not know what was going on. We got home and I remember my mom turning on the television. I had seen planes crashing into the twin towers and people were flying out of the building. My mom started crying and telling me to pray with her.
When I was younger, I remember my mom would always wear a certain perfume when we go to
church together. Recently, I went to Texas with my friends just to get out and have a good time.
We decided to go to Six Flags because we all went as kids and loved it. When we got there, we wanted to go on one of our favorite roller coasters. We were sitting in the roller coaster when a
Hispanic lady got on behind us and instantly I smelled my mother’s perfume; it brought me back to when I was six years old at Church. All of a sudden I remembered small details about being in
