I have always seen a struggle in homeless people trying to live a daily life with what little money they have to find shelter, buy food and other necessities we use to get through our days as active members of society. Sadly when it comes to female problems, no one likes to mention them because they find it uncomfortable or gross to talk about let alone it won't be brought up if its homeless female problems. many feel as if they can't do enough because they need a lot so they don't touch the problem or some just don't care at all. For those who care I bringing it up with an alternative and telling my community about this problem because it's a big issue that needs to be addressed. With the alternative people will be able to help by being aware of discrimination because when they buy the zine i will provide homeless women with what they need to stay sanitized and all the community has to do is share. These are the reasons i made it a goal for my personal project to provide homeless women with toiletries to help this certain problem and empower more people to take action in creative ways with art. I do not want to set a specific numbered goal on providing the products, I want to drop off as much as I can and let the shelter distribute them based on who needs them. i hope by addressing the issue i can get more people to not see it as a bad thing and get …show more content…
another ones of my goals is to get at least 25 answered surveys or comments out of 45 sold zines. There are many art forms with people who do them, that means if that percentage of people that are creative and talented aren't empowered we are missing out on amazing ideas that can help our world be a better place. Many people feel intimidated to show their work so by helping to show some examples of art forms such as poetry, visual art, creative writing, music and more to present their work they can see examples of how then can show what they have to say . All those examples can hopefully get more people to be comfortable showing what talents they have to offer the world. the zine will be sold with most of the profits going to homeless women and to continue making the
