ACUVUE® is view as a good quality and good looking product which is suitable for everyone with or without sightedness problem, concluded by the survey conducted. This is because almost all of the users will recommended this product to others after they have consumed. The price, comfortability, and degree of moistness of the ACUVUE® contact lenses are the important factors that mostly affected the purchase decision of the consumers. Although most of the consumers are more prefer Freshlook brand than ACUVUE® brand, consumers are still strongly satisfied with ACUVUE® product and will stick to the product once they familiar with it.
ACUVUE® brand are still not the first choice of consumers. Therefore, ACUVUE® Company should improve and strengthen its marketing strategies to attract more customers or users. Based on the recommendation mentioned above, there are 4 effective marketing strategies besides the marketing tools that have been used by the company which are advertising, sales promotion and directing. Capitalizing on the clinical expertise, hire students as their products agent and giving them commission, creating a special event, and geo-locational marketing are some else effective tools that can increase the popularity of the brand’s product and make consumers have confidence with the product. Lastly, ACUVUE® Company should take some action and give response to the consumer’s suggestions in order to gain more positive feedback from them. The survey conduct with consumer decision process model make us more understand the consumer’s buying behaviour so that we can make improvement to make the products better and better, increases company profitability and serve the society with more benefits product.
