Alex Katz Research Paper
Alex Katz is an American figurative artist associated with the Pop art movement. He was born July 24, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York. His work is characterized by scale, space, color and simplification. Alex Katz developed his technique of Abstract Expressionism, finding his own distinctive resolution between formalism and representation. Katz is associated with the Pop Art movement and has produced a body of work that includes paintings, drawings, sculpture, and prints.
