Ameriricorp Rc Reflection

I am in the first specialized youth development team in AmeriCorp NCCC history. in this team my primary responsibilities are tutoring , mentoring and coaching at-risk young people.My first six week project was in a tier one school in Denver called West Generation Academy. I spent time in middle school classrooms from grade 6- 8 providing behavioural and academic intervention to the students that were struggling in either area. I am currently in the sixth week of my second project. My responsibilities in this role include tutoring low performing children in grades 1-5 in BACA elementary school, providing assistance in three local Boys and Girls clubs in Pueblo and teaching business, employment and basic life skills to students in Kindegarten
