Hello. My name is Ellen DuBois, author of I Never Held You, a book about miscarriage, healing and recovery, Host of MiscarriageHelp.com, and contributing author to several books including Conquering Panic and Anxiety Disorders- Success Stories, Strategies and Other Good News. I've also suffered from panic and/or anxiety attacks for over twenty-years. When did they begin? How did these 'attacks' enter my life and why? Who would want them? Certainly not me and I'll bet you don't want them in your life, either. They are scary, (especially your first one), can be debilitating, (afraid to leave your home or eat), and just plain stink, for lack of a better word. I'll try to keep my story brief. She'd lay in bed at night, reading, just to take her mind off her pounding heart. Not long after my fiancé and I were living together, he ordered Lucinda Bassett's Attacking Anxiety and Depression CD set for me. At first, he thought it would be a waste of money. But, he saw how I was suffering and got it for me. I am so thankful he did. I couldn't afford it and needed her help so badly. The program is fabulous, and I'm going to give it a listen again. I know it's been years, but life is full of change and sometimes, when things feel a bit out of sync, some guidance and reinforcement is needed. If my gut tells me it's time to listen to her program again, (and it's telling me that right now), it's time to do it. Go with your gut. Talk out your anxiety with someone who will listen and can guide you. I did. I met with a counselor for over a year. At first, I thought I was going because I couldn't deal with my divorce. Well, as it turned out, there were many issues that needed to be brought to the table: the loss of sight in my left eye; my miscarriage; my divorce; my struggle to eat, drive, do things socially without forcing myself to do so. People have been using herbs to help anxiety symptoms for eons in time even back in the old prehistoric caveman days. And you know what? These herbs in the right combinations can cut anxiety symptoms by half. I have been using a variety of herb combinations to help anxiety symptoms and this is my all time favorite combination. Next, steep the herb packet in 8 ounces of hot water for five minutes. For longer relief, Herbal sleep capsules work great for calming down anxiety symptoms. They usually last for 6 - 8 hours which is a good long time, and my most favorite is a proprietary herbal formula called Twilight Moon which I found on Ebay. You might be asking if these capsules will make you sleepy. Sleep formulas are supposed to make a person sleep, but not if you are dealing with moderate anxiety symptoms. Anxiety generally super charges the whole body mostly a certain part of the brain that produces a fear response, the amygala.
