I. Why is Apple tops in its industry.
Apple, a technology company that produces smart phones, tablets and portable music players, the retail stories has been in existence since 2001 and now has 394 stores worldwide with over 76100 employees in 14 countries, is considered to be the most successful electronics company in the world. As the most innovative and admired company in the world, what’s the key element of Apple’s success? It’s success owning to its relentless pursuit of customer delighting innovation and its excellent sales group. An innovative organizations like Apple that employees’ (especially those in R&D department) motivation is a key success factor and hence the employees plays a significant role in terms of business performance. That means employees are a critical determinant of Apple’s success and prosperity.

We can see from the graph above that, to apple, these talented employees who were being motivated and made their commitment is crucial to the firm. As a result, Apple 's highly motivated workforce is one of the major reasons for its high-performance results.

II. The relationship between reward system and employee motivation
As we all know, employee motivation plays an important role in a company’s development. Then the question comes to be how to motivate employees? Namely, how a company could find a way to attract people to joint the company and to keep them performing to high levels. Reward system is one of the best answers. It is an important tool that managers can use to motivate employees in a desired way. And it involved in allocate of compensation and benefits to employees in exchange for their contribution to the organization.
Since employees play a key role in each and every company, company needs to consider the use of different strategic reward systems for different types of employees in order to motivate them working effectively and efficiently with maximum effort for the company. Moreover,
