Environmental factors include two factors which are physical factors like a prenatal nutrition this is recommended before and during pregnancy because it has a strong influence on new-borns weight and the development of an infant, and because the pregnant lady is carrying a child she is eating for two a common phrase known as ‘a women eating for two’ showing that the women should eat twice the amount of food she regularly has. The second factor is social environment like a neighbourhood, media or peer pressure for example when the infant is growing as a child he/she would often go outside to play and would pick up many things but if the neighbourhood is bad then the infant/child would have a bad influence and would give a bad impact to the child. Also the environmental factors have different levels of impact on a human’s development because they involve multiple layers of action like the most immediate families, friends and neighbourhoods to bigger social contexts like a school system or local government like for example the immediate social setting includes the culture of where that individual child is educated or where he/she lives also the people who he/she interacts with because this all can affect the child’s development.
