The Second Amendment is one of the most debated Amendments at this time in our country. In the U.S. Constitution the Second Amendment is stated that “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” The second amendment to the US constitution was written by James Madison, who became a member of the Philadelphia Constitutional Convention in 1787. They do not save lives. The cities in this country with the most stringent gun laws are the ones with the highest murder rates and levels of other violent crime. I agree with Ron Smiths article because if you were planning on causing harm which place would you want to go in: somewhere that has a sign stating no firearms allowed or one that doesn’t have any sign. If I was planning to cause harm to me it would be a no brainer! In the country now with all the mass shootings guns are just the easiest to blame. The guns, even if they weren’t used in the shootings, the people would’ve found something else to use to get the same affect. We can take the guns out of the picture but if people want to hurt someone they will do whatever needed to do
