Aspin had long, silky hair that went below her back and she was tanned from the summer sun, with bright green eyes.
Raven on the other hand, had pale skin, ice blue eyes, long, thick, and raven colored hair, hence her name. “I know, but
Mother has always said that we shouldn’t go in the woods!” Raven shouted back to her sister. “Aspin?” Raven could feel her heart start to thump uncontrollably out of her chest and her mind filled with fear.
All of a sudden something behind her moved. She turned around with a start. …show more content…
“Boo!” shouted Aspin. Raven yelped and covered her head. “Aspin!” she complained, “You know I don’t like it when you teleport!” Raven glared at her sister.
“Oh, come on! What are twins for?” She started playfully humming a tune. “No!” Raven shouted, “Don’t-” Raven was cut off when a big animal squashed her to the ground. She could hear Aspin laughing and felt a surge of anger, like energy, shoot out of her. The laughter stopped short and Raven felt her anger drain out of her and it was replaced by concern. She shoved the big thing off of her, brushed off the grass and dirt, and saw the animal that jumped her, just as she had predicted, was their giant dog, Bubbles. Raven looked around confused, wondering where Aspin went and heard Bubbles whine behind her. She turned around to look at the dog and saw Aspin laying on the ground unconscious with her mouth and eyes still open with a pained expression on her face. The ground beneath her body and where Raven had laid was all dead and charred with gray-black ash. “Aspin!” Raven shouted.
Raven woke with a startled gasp and panted looking around her and her sister’s bedroom. Aspin stirred in her bed. Raven quietly got out of her bed, noticing that it was drenched with sweat and went into the bathroom to clean herself up. After she was in fresh cloths she went and made sure Aspin was alright. When she saw that Aspin was sleeping peacefully, she sighed in relief and went into family room. Raven sat on the couch and tried to remember her dream. She successfully remembered each part felt a feeling of dread creep up her spine like a centipede. She wondered what would happen if she actually hurt someone, or her sister.
“Raven?” she heard a voice in the doorway and turned to see who it was. Aspin rubbed her eyes and looked sleepily at Raven. “Why are you up so early? And why-” she broke off and a shocked expression broke out onto her face. “Aspin? Are you ok? Aspin!” Raven hurried over to her sister, panicked. Aspin shook her head and looked at Raven with a bewildered expression on her face. “You cut off in mid sentence! Are you ok?” Raven anxiously waited for Aspin to answer. Aspin looked at Raven and then she saw Bubbles. She moved her hands to put them on her head. “It’s so weird...” she murmured, “I feel like I had a dream, but it was so... strange. It almost felt like it really happened even though I’m still here.” Raven took Aspin by the hand and brought her over to the couch to sit down. “What was your, dream, about?”
Raven asked. “Well, it’s probably going to sound weird.” Aspin looked over at Raven bashfully. Raven smiled
encouragingly at her. “Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin, so how about I show you instead?” Aspin put her fingers on both sides of Raven head and before Raven could protest, she was plunged into a dream-like vision. What Raven saw sent a feeling of dread rise up in her chest. She saw Aspin dancing next to
