The family would like for him to attend a school named Celebrate the Children as it appears that this school is equipped to meet Christopher academic and behavioral needs. The family has an interview with this school in the early month of December and is optimistic that the school will accept Christopher and the Rockaway school district will pay for the out of district school fees.
2. The Kochan/Cornelius case is being closed by the Division as the children mental health needs are being addressed through CMO. Michael, Christopher and Stephen all receives individual in-home counseling. According to Ms. Kochan she sees the services as beneficial. Mr. Cornelius has expressed that he has seen an improved in the children's behaviors during visits to his home.
Although Christopher is struggling in his former school setting. Both Ms. Kochan and Mr. Cornelius are actively searching for an academics setting that can meet the children's needs.
