We however still find ourselves in uncertain times economically. Despite the extreme economic instability in our current time we live in the what has all the hallmarks of any historic age of decadence. This can be seen in our obsessive need to share images of our homes, food,cars,money,travels, and generally anything that can heighten the perception of ourselves to our peers despite the dichotomy of our economic condition. While this trend is most common among millennials over the past ten years with the extreme increase in popularity with social media it has taken roots with most demographics stopping short of the baby boomer generation, however like with anything there are outliers and demographic exceptions. Now that we have established some of the current trends of the age, lets go over what has been seen as historical signs of the decline of society in the the sixth age of decadence. Common features include an undisciplined and overly large military, we can see this in worldwide push for the US to withdraw from many theaters of war round the world due to our size.
