Our Staff
We select staff carefully in order to provide the best possible care and education for the children. The director has bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education. All lead teachers have degrees in early childhood education and experience as teachers of young children. All assistants also have special training as well as demonstrated competence with young children. Each staff has on file three written references as well as a police record check, and drug screening.
The program is based on the philosophy that most children can learn the skills necessary to succeed in school, that each child learns at his/her own rate, that success in learning will develop the child’s self-image. With guidance and understanding they will gain confidence
of the self-importance and they will the opportunity to explore the world in a safe environment.
Independently owned and operated since 2008, Kids first Child Care Center is monitored by Florida Department Children and Families (DCF) and Early Learning Coalition of Duval County (ELC). Each classroom has security camera system.
