Ozymandias is known as the “King of Kings”(13) according to his words - this is a sign of ego. From the clues in the poem, the poem is about a big kingdom who was ruled by Ozymandias and now it is known as the “colossal wreck”(13) with its “visage lies”(13). The kingdom crashed because of Ozymandias and his tyrant ruling ways. In conclusion, the “king of king” Ozymandias built his big kingdom and soon it fell apart due to his ruling ways and all the broken “colossal wreck” is lefts with Ozymandias ego words “My name is Ozymandias king of king: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!” - Ozymandias has ego trapped in his work and his words with the “colossal wreck” forever affect the people of his kingdom and know his work is known to all people and shown how and why not to become an ego and greedy leader.
