In some ways I agree with Dr. Adler, on his discussion on birth order, but for my family I don’t believe it all applies. My mother has only two children and in some ways I am the topical oldest child. But in no way am I a socially dominant person, I’m usually the person that stetted in the back of the room and does not say anything unless I have to. Now I do have some of the other traits like I have always been a very responsible, well-behaved person. One thing I don’t like is that I seem to always needed my mother’s approval. Now my little sister is the queen of been the youngest child. She is always the life the party, she has to be seen at all time because it’s all about her. Also she one of those younger sibling who really got to have more freedom than most especially more than I did. She basically got to do anything she wanted, like my mom would let her boyfriend spend the night any time they wanted. One more thing is I think my sister is a very independent person nor is she selfish.
