Blue Ocean Monologue
As I think about you

I think about the distance,
I question my sanity
I start to crave your brilliance.
I dream to see you for a split second.
I question what was my existence.
Without you

Now when I look at the blue sky,
I think about your magic words
How fast will it fly?
How much will I cry?

I question the moon why are you so unique?
The moon turns it's back on me
So I question the brightest of stars yet I don't have an answer astray is About tit over with my cigarette buds

How are you so complete?
You're someone that I simply cannot critique,
As you always bring me relief even with the sharpest of pains

To you, I can write an endless gig
About how your heart's is so big
And how my soul you rigged,
How our hearts just clicked.

Two shadows emerge from a dark bedroom like bears coming out of hibernation. They move into the kitchen, and the moon casts lights and shadows into the room, illuminating everything. The silhouettes are holding hands, and they huddle close to each other. Tears have stained their cheeks, and both of their hair is matted down with mud and leaves. One shadow has a soft, slender figure that could only belong to a female.…

Now, March 18.. Clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk. I could hear the tapping of the Captain’s peg leg on the deck as he paced. I could also hear the slightly lighter thumping of my mother’s heavy boots as she took baskets of herbs up and down the stairs. The boots had originally belonged to Father, but Mother used them now, calling them more “seaworthy” compared to the delicate canvas boots that she used to wear.…

When you're a kid you would never think of almost dying at sesame place, but that's exactly what happened to me. As my family and I entered the park, my eyes grew with amazement as I looked around me. There were zooming roller coasters, families laughing, toddlers running around with a sugar high from all the cotton candy they ate, and especially the terrifying, enormous, gray and blue water slide, I looked at the slide with fear and excitement in my eyes. I knew right then and there that I was going to go on that slide no matter the consequences.…
