Work , does raise some important topics . How will the dog react around coworkers , like the writer stated in Against Bringing Dogs to Work, some people are allergic or scared . Or have been bitten by a dog , these would be factors of bringing stress into the workplace . Some dogs have unsanitary issues and lick and kiss people and perhaps they could spread germs to people , for instance i have two dogs they are constantly licking and chewing and rolling in dead things,my son got a rash because of the germs spread from our dog . Some dogs are whiny and some jump on people but dogs are unpredictable . It could also be a expensive lawsuit if a person was hurt by a dog jumping up on them or getting bit by the dog at the workplace. If the empoyee has to take his or her dog out to pottie or get sum water , during his or her work time that would be unproductive for the employer , who as an employee not getting thier job done. As for me i would rather have my dog at home protecting my house from crooks, i think its very debatible to bring your dog to work and as a dog owner its a choice , a dog needs room to run , not be in a building but dogs do help with stress and anxiety. Believe me i have two kids , boys and thats is stressfull but i give my dogs a pet on the head, after a long day at work or out with my boys and they are always happy to greet you it takes the stress of the day away
