Introduction

Any system of determining how well an individual employee has performed during a period of time. Frequently used as a basis for determining merit increases.
Observe and evaluate an employee in relation to pre-set performance standards.

Vision
An integrated approach to ensuring that an employee’s performance supports and contributes to the organization strategic aims.
Setting work standard assessing performance and providing feedback to motivate, correct, and continue their performance. Provide development steps that are needed to enhance employee performance.

Mission
To approach employee performance to be achieved company goals and individual goals
Effective of performance appraisal is distinguishes effective and ineffective performance. Mission ,goals and strategic should be defined and clearly understood by everyone.

Method used to Evaluate an employee’s performance

1. Individual evaluation methods are those techniques when the standards of performance are defined individually, without references to other person’s.

1.1. Graphic rating scale is the oldest and still most used method of evaluation. In this case the rater is presented with a set of traits and is asked to rate the employee on each of them.
