“Change within a community comes when vision meets hard work and persistence" (Claudine Heizer.) When he does something he is very determined to get it done, he won't leave business unfinished! Rob Dyrdek is a very charitable man! He enjoys donating to charities and builds skate parks for kids out there who don't have one in their community! What I love the most is that he will go out and give big black trash bags full of stuff he really just doesn't need that includes: Clothes, Shoes, and other pieces of clothing or accessories that he has laying around! Also he will go up to a random homeless person and offer to take him out for food or give him money and I don't mean the average dollar or two I mean about a hundred dollars, more or less, which is really kind! What the homeless person does with it is their problem but the point is Rob isn't afraid to "throw his money around" as many people view it as! I see it as him being a very giving person! Dyrdek has a positive, care-free outlook on life which is quite inspiring.…

He lectures me by always uttering, “Do anything for those who need help, so one day someone can return the favor.” In addition he started doing more things with the community to help the people who live in Marshall. Even though he cannot work, he is always looking for a way to help others become more successful.…

My most significant contribution to a community, without any doubt in my mind, has been to both of my local Boys and Girls Club of America branches. I first began to go to the Boys and Girls Club shortly after the divorce of my parents. In the beginning, I was at my lowest point, until I learned many of my peers were in a similar situation. From that point on, I helped the staff at the Club, mentored younger kids, and provided assistance to anyone who needed it. Quickly, I became the Club’s youth of the month, and in 2013 became the Boys and Girls Club of Zionsville’s youth of the year, the highest honor a Boys and Girls Club member can receive. In the Club, everyone had forged a bond of understanding with one another. In some way, we were…

These shelters provide a safe, warm, and dry place for homeless who are stuck out in the streets. First and foremost, I am a perfectionist and aim for the best in everything I do. Yet imperfections or mishaps don’t stress me out in the slightest, instead they motivate me to find what works and quickly rebound. My experiences in Trenton and Lawrenceville give me a dual perspective that is directly applicable to the service Bonner does. Yet, while I do have hopes to travel outside this country and do some kind of service, all of my traveling has been done around the east coast. In having a small but religious family I’ve become very flexible in collaborating with multiple personalities on behalf of many charity and fundraising projects with my church.…
