He wants the gun violence to end in Chicago. Being from Chicago himself it hits home when another person is murdered by a gun in the hands of their brother. Chance had a meeting with Barack Obama to discuss a challenge called “My Brother’s Keeper” this was for the federal government to promote intervention by civic leaders in the lives of young colored men to address their unique challenges and to promote their racial justice. Chance is for the movement “All lives Matter” but like he has said once. “Everyone knows that all lives matter.. But when people of color are dying at the hands of policemen, we need to remind everyone that black lives matter too.” Chance has been involved with campaigns in Chicago to end all of the violence and black on black crimes. He’s an active advocate to end this nonsense in
