Charlie Monologue
During the corrupt years of 1950, there was a boy named Charlie. Charlie used to have parents, but his mother passed away when he was born, and his dad was sent to asylum, as he has gone insane. One silent night, like all the others in April, at midnight, he was running in a storm until he came upon a circus which was as dark as the night sky. Charlie was wondering if he should go in or not, and, he chose to go in. Once he went in, a clown went to his phone telling the person he dialed ¨We got one.¨
As he was walking in, he had the feeling something can happen at any time, and something did happen. A boy, about his age, walked up to him, gave him a dirty look, and then went back into the darkness, where all the other performers were. That same kid, told all the other performers about this

He chased Charlie, and was laughing hysterically. ¨My boss will be so proud! Just come here boy, I got candy, wait, I don´t!¨ Charlie hid behind a wall to catch his breath, but then, he saw another one. It was another clown, except, he was looking child-friendly. He was holding an inflated, squeaky balloon sword with something that looks like blood. Charlie thought, ¨This is just stupid, how is a clown with a sword made out of helium supposed to kidnap me?¨ The clown was heading towards him, but then he tripped on his giant shoelaces, that he uses for strangling victims. Charlie made a run for it, and headed straight to the New Jersey Police Department.
When he opened the police door, there were more clown kidnappers, all equipped with deadly ¨silly string¨, and machetes covered in dripping blood, and worse. He saw his dad on the floor, covered in the poisonous "silly string". After that day, Charlie was never seen

One of them, a dark-skinned man in his early twenties with thick, knitted eyebrows twirled a whip in his hand and rhythmically swatted the side of the truck with it. His roaming eyes fell on me. Held my gaze. I’d never felt so naked in my entire life.…
