1.1 Critical Evaluation of Findings
Military use of children affects every aspect of a child’s development. Children affected by armed conflict can be injured or killed, displaced from their homes and communities, orphaned or separated from their parents and families,
victims of trauma as a result of being exposed to violence or subjected to sexual abuse and exploitation. It is highly probable that children living in conflict area will be underprivileged of basic needs such as food, shelter and medical attention.
