Throughout this film, there is positivity shown throughout all situations and hard work along with dedication to each task that Chris faces. Chris’s dedication to pursuing a happy and better life for him and his son is inspiring. Chris consistently tries to do the best for him and his son. He juggles his life with work and taking care of his son along with trying to find a roof to sleep over in the night.

The aspiration shown through Chris of going from working with completely nothing to finding a career is truly inspiring. Chris could have just given up all hope but his positive mindset and dedication towards his son lead him to success. Personally, for me, I find it amazing how Chris went from completely losing everything, his wife, home, and source of income, to finding a pathway

This living being having a source of income and a degree. These are now requirements in today’s society as it is needed to afford rent or taxes, food, bills, and clothing. This money is received through a job and majority of jobs require a degree from university or polytechnic. This realization in people of these crucial things has affected people. I believe that now we have prioritized these ‘crucial’ things over our happiness and relationships with others. It has become the main priority when our mental wellbeing should come before this. Happiness is what makes life worthwhile and enjoyable.
Chris and his son did not spend their days miserable they had time to joke around and they created happiness within each other. “Happiness is only something we can pursue” this explains that happiness does not come from anything else but yourself, you decide how you will perceive life. It demonstrates that change starts with you even though that is a bluntly obvious point but when do people actually have the dedication and mindset to make that
