The most interesting part from the lecture was the opportunity to traveling abroad and the experiences shared from the students. One of the students traveled to Iceland to study the soil and how it was different from the rest of the world. He said that the group he was with went by volcanos, climbed glaciers, climb rocks, and other fun activities. These stories make me want to travel abroad if possible because of the unique experiences each person brings back. Another interesting thing that I learned from this lecture was about this class offered at Ohio State University that took the class to a body of water in Columbus to examine different species present. It was interesting because the professor was one of the leading researchers for this type of work. Overall, the class looked interesting and unique.
4. I’m wondering if there’s an introduction class about one of the agricultural majors that would also be a general education course since I might be interested in learning a little more about this major. Also, If I don’t pursue this type of major, is it possible to get a minor in one of the agricultural science
