Coca Cola is the world's largest beverage company. They sell their products in more than 200 countries and more than one billion of their products are consumed daily. Keeping finance and logistics is an important task. Coca Cola started using a system called the traditional system, which has proved very effective. This system was generating high value and was not user friendly. All financial plans manually entered and is used to enter again to update the information. When Coca-Cola expanded it became more important for success (Aguilo, Riera, &Rossello, 2005).
Coca Cola need a lot more advance management business. So Coca Cola decided to use the SAP Strategic Enterprise Management. They have implemented SAP in its financial business in order to cope with the financial processes of the corporation. SEM provides business planning modeling for finance, data warehouses to collect and analyze data, and can generate financial reports and monthly sales forecasts.
Serving business and consumer customers
However, to truly take advantage of Coca-Cola Freestyle, the company felt it needed a new portal to its end users. Customers for Coca-Cola, which means end users, distributors and small shopkeepers and small businesses that, have traditionally relied on handwritten invoices and telephone ordering able to log into a website and make them self-trim there.
