Collaboration Between Inter-Professionals
Nurses and other health workers seeking employment in primary health care and general practice settings may present with a range of qualifications, professional experience and scopes of practice. Ensuring that the right person is selected for a specific position requires an understanding of roles, responsibilities and accountabilities. (Ashley 2013)
Collaboration in health care as health care professionals assumptive complementary roles and hand and glove operating along, sharing responsibility for finding and creating selections to formulate and perform plans for the patient. Collaboration between inter-professionals will increase the team member’s awareness of each other’s skills and knowledge that will result in consistent improvement
