College Should Be Free
“Every person in this country who has the desire and ability should be able to get all the education they need regardless of the income of their family. This is not a radical idea. In Germany, Scandinavia and many other countries, higher education is either free or very inexpensive. We must do the same." (Sander).
Some countries have free education from kindergarten to university, while students in other countries must pay for every step of the way. Everyone should have a free education so the gap between rich and poor students decrease as poorer students have more opportunity. College should be free in the United States because it can better the economy, stress load off students, and benefit the untied state as whole.
If education was free in the united states it would take a load of stress off students. Students who go to school often must work one or sometimes up to two jobs to try to fund their tuition that can become every stressful especially if you’re a full-time student. Germany, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Scotland and Sweden have no tuition for college. Other countries have low tuition. We need the best educated workforce in the world. Instead of spending endless amounts on the military, we need to invest in our young people." What Bernie sanders is saying is if the united states want to be able to compete at its full potential on the globe level we are going to have focus on educating more people so they can participate in are economy but we can’t do that until we make education more affordable. That statement is true if higher education was free more people would be employed and are economy would be better financially.
