Brother had gotten angry, he began to storm off and leave Doodle by himself in the woods. Doodle was not quite quick enough to catch up with brother, but he was trying. Brother began to notice how far behind Doodle had gotten he hears him cry out, "brother, brother, don't leave me! Don't leave me!" (425).
