Compare and Contrast Paper
When it comes to the most magical place on earth like Disney Land and Disney World there are lots of similarities and differences. However, no matter which park somebody will visit they will still have a great time.
Disney Land is located in Anaheim, California. The over all location of Disney Land is in smaller compared to Disney World. Disney Land is the main theme park at the Anaheim location. The only other attraction Disney Land has would be Downtown Disney, which right outside the park doors. There is a Ferris Wheel that is a great attraction for guests when they visit. The castle that is main attraction in Disney Land and the castle belong to Sleeping Beauty. Inside the castle are mainly shops for guest to buy souvenirs.
Disney World is located in Orlando, Florida. The location to where Disney World is on is much larger space compared to Disney Land. Besides only having Disney World there are three other parks that guests can visit through out the day. They do have a Downtown Disney but it is not right outside the gates. It is located a few miles out. The main attraction in Disney World would be the castle, which is the home of Cinderella. Not only is the main attraction but they have a salon inside the castle. The salon is a place where little girls can become their princess.
There are many differences when it comes to the two parks but it is still a wonderful place to visit. Either it be Disney Land or Disney World guests will be able to be apart of the magic and enjoy their experience.

There are over 100 rides/attractions at these parks. Some rides are for younger kids, like the spinning Tea Cups at the Magic Kingdom, and other rides are real roller coasters, like the Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios. Disney has attractions for all ages to enjoy the thrill of going on rides. When I was fourteen, I went on Expedition Everest at the Animal Kingdom, and it was my first time riding an intense roller coaster in six years. I had a panic attack on the ride because I was petrified, but the moment I got off, my adrenaline took over and I wanted to ride again. Roller coasters are intense, but the thrill is worth the…

Disney World in Orlando, FL has several theme parks, resorts, restaurants, and stores. Each is intentionally created to offer a memorable event for visitors. For example, the Wilderness Lodge is a large resort hotel on the grounds, and everything within it is made to look like log cabins and pioneer days. Even the casual restaurant has the wait staff dressed in pioneer costumes, and they put on funny little skits when they are waiting on customers. Which of the following best describes what Disney is…

Throughout the entire theme park, it is divided between handfuls of different sections. Main Street, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Toon town, Adventureland, Frontierland are all very unique from each other; giving you a different experience each time. Main Street U.S.A is just at the entrance of Disneyland and it is a replica dedicated to early 20th century America. Main Street is filled with people anxious to explore the rest of the park and full of smiles to start their day. Next we arrive to Fantasyland, a land based on classic Disney films and Disney characters walking around. I noticed every child going crazy to meet their favorite character and take pictures with each of them. Then we cruise to Tomorrowland, which has a futuristic design to it and all of the attractions are based on outer space. Space Mountain, Buzz Light-year and Star Wars are all popular rides in Tomorrowland. Toon town is a whole land devoted to Mickey Mouse and friends, who obviously are the more popular characters in Disneyland. Toon town is pretty much self-explanatory,…

Established by Walt Disney and his brother Roy O. Disney as the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio, Disney has made its place in the world media as a live-action film production studios, movies, and theme parks. The theme parks extended the works of Disney to a new direction. Disney first started sketching the design for the park during a business meeting in Chicago. According to the NY Times, 'Children's Fairyland' was a big inspiration to Disney for establishing Disneyland (Pellisier). The establishment of the Theme Park in the 50s made history for the Disney company. Before Disney, people believed that a company was centered around a certain work because no company has spread its branches like Disney, but Disney changed this viewpoint of people by not only making animations but also establishing Theme Parks. Disneyland was not just any theme park, it was the 'The Happiest Place on Earth' as people call it. Established in 1955, Disneyland played a major role for the company's finance. The share prices started building up for Disney, and it was a huge step for Disney towards being one of the most successful companies of the world. Disney established Theme parks in few other locations as well, including Florida, Hong Kong, China, etc. Each of these establishments were a step towards a huge success & the rise of the share…

Magic is what these places share. They were created to build and spread joy within the hearts of the people. Though one of these was built before the other, they both aim to fulfill their tasks, and bring magic to the visitors to both resorts. There are die hard Disney fans that will argue that Disney Land is better than Disney World, though the size, the unique attractions and rides, and the history of each will settle the argument that one of these vacation spots is better than the other.…

"You can dream, create, design and build the most wonderful place in the world, but it requires people to make the dream a reality", Walt Disney (Pulsifer). This quote means that if you believe you can do something, you can but it takes other people to make it come true. Also, it means that if you dream about making/building something and you make it come true, the other people are the ones that truly have to believe to make it 100% real and fun. In Florida, Walt Disney is one of the main attractions that people enjoy visiting, because it fun and enjoyable. When Disney first opened, the admission was only $3.50 but now it is much much more, because it has been open for several years and has expanded.…

Disney World is the most enjoyable place I have ever been. The sights and sounds are outstanding there. Every corner presents new attractions. The noise of laughing children fills the air. Music plays loudly amidst the laughter filled streets. Delicious aromas engulf my nostrils while passing restaurants. Just as a child, adults become excited when Mickey shows up. The feeling possessed while on a ride exceeds expectation. It may appear a theme park, but a magical experience would be more fitting.…

While the two are similar in many ways, they have many ways in which they differ. To start, Lagoon has been around much longer, opening in 1886, while Disneyland opened in 1955. However, Disneyland was much larger when it opened, covering over 155 acres, whereas Lagoon was the size of a small carnival, and has gradually grown. Lagoon also caters to a more local audience, while Disneyland attracts visitors from around the world, having had over 650 million people enter since opening. Disneyland also adds a difference by individualizing all their rides. Each ride is themed on a movie or show that the Disney Company has produced, but Lagoon has generic rides with normal clowns etc. Disneyland also has onsite hotels, also themed. Lagoon does, however, have a campsite where you can camp, and still have a grand time.…
